BREAKING: Hyphenate just raised $45M in Series A funding to bring AI agents to corporate finance.

The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners.

Hyphenate is building an autonomous finance platform where AI agents execute workflows across revenue, treasury, and accounting, reducing manual work for finance teams.

The numbers behind the raise:

86x revenue growth

in 12 months

11x customer growth

over the same period

90% of routine finance work

handled by its agents across the platform

Customers already include Groupon, Synthesia, and Mini Melts.

Harvey has raised nine rounds in less than four years. The last one, in September, valued it at $15.5B.

It isn’t the only one moving this fast:

OpenEvidence went from $1B to $15B in 19 months, across five rounds

Legora raised $550M twice in seven months, the second time this week

Cognition went from $26B to $48B between May and September

These companies raised because their products grew faster than anything investors had seen. But who they let in first, when they went back to market and how much of the company they sold were decisions the founders made.

📚 So we went through every round of the 10 AI startups that raised the most, the fastest (AI labs excluded). For each one: the dates, the amounts, the valuations, who led, what the founders did around each round and all the
